this is my extra bowl project, it stands 4" tall and 7" wide, it is blue and smooth. i glazed the entire project in cobalt blue and then dripped black down the sides of the project. the new skill that i learned was making a project with to very dark glazes. value is used in this project to show off the dark colors and how they touch each other. harmony is used in this project because the black and blue go well together so well, and it is very pleasing to the eye. this project important to me because to me this project shows how far i have come in ceramics.

this is my extra project, i decided to make a bowl. this bowl stands 4 1/2" tall. i initially glazed the entire project in white, then i used the super expensive Ms. H's secret glazes and made rings around my project with red and orange. the new skill that i learned was how to glaze with these special glazes and make them run. line was used in this project to show how it was straight and when it got fired it run. pattern was used in this project to show how the lien around the project are all the same in and out. the meaning of this project is that i can learn new abilities to glaze with just a little help.
this project is my second lidded, it stands 5" tall and 3 1/2" wide. it has a mix of cobalt blue and forest green mixed with white to make it clash together. i glazed it with cobalt blue and forest green, i made it run by using white all around the in and outside of the project. the new skill that i learned was how to make the lid and tall project have the same width so that they can fit together. value is used in the project to see the light and dark colors that shine out of this project. harmony is seen in this project with everything just goes so well together with the blue tall and lid. the meaning of this project is that, i can make these hard projects more than once.
this project is my second themed project, it was a fully smooth inside with some rough texture on the outside. it stands 5" tall and 3 1/2" tall, the glaze is forest green and white on the inside and cobalt blue on the outside. i glazed it with splatted paint on both the in and outside, and let it run down the sides to give it his nice effect. the new skill i learned was making two projects being the same look by using only splatter paint theme. value it used with the dark and light colors around the project to lead the eye. balance i used it the project with the rough spots and the two contrasting colors. the importance of this project is to show myself that i can do this by myself with no help from others.
